NYC Film Distribution & Marketing
December 3, 2015 @ 6:00 am - 7:00 pm$10.00
Film festivals are a great platform for you to test the waters. Some festivals are more established than others. Getting into Sundance, Cannes or Venice Film Festival will certainly legitimize your movie and most likely also get you a distribution deal. But the rest of the festivals can also be of substantial help. Some filmmakers choose to do their first screening before a picture lock, so that they can see the audience’s reaction to the movie and edit a final cut based on their notes.
With so many distribution options it may be confusing as to which path to take. Attend our film & Web Series Distribution primer and get an understanding of your options.
